Tasting note

Clear, bright and aromatic with notes of fleshy fruits such as peach, pear and melon accented by a touch of almond paste. This medium to almost full-bodied Pinot Gris has a round rich mouth-feel that is almost oily in texture. Wonderful flavors of melon, pear and peach fill the mouth. Notes of melon, tangerine and spice linger on the smooth finish. Serve lightly chilled at 14 to 16C. Pairs well with leek and mushroom quiche; sauteed scallops; crab cakes with mayo dipping sauce; pork tenderloin with pine-nut mushroom stuffing.

Featured in TASTE Magazine, Winter 2012 issue. This white is a bright, straw yellow colour with fresh aromas of Bartlett pear, ripe apple, white peach and a touch of tropical fruit. It’s a medium-bodied wine with refreshing acidity and flavours of green apple, green pear and honeydew melon. Hints of spice linger on the oily and textural finish.
