Tasting note

Magna, Santa Julia's most ambitious wine, shows the firm's change in style. What was, in vintages past, primarily a concentration of black fruit flavors and new wood, today is radiant in red, juicy fruit. Cabernet sauvignon (50 percent of the blend) provides the slightly herbal notes and firm tannins, while malbec adds the red fruit and violet notes that make it so seductive. Score - 92. Cherry and plum aromas with soft and balanced tannins. Great and long finish. Black and red fruits mixed with aromas due to age in barrels such as vanilla, tobacco and chocolate. Silky entry with soft and balanced tannins well mixed with black fruits flavours. Well balanced, great and long finish.
