Tasting note
54.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot, 1.5% Cabernet Franc Deep garnet colour. Pretty aromas of cassis, cedar, cloves and a touch of violets. Earth / loam. Medium acid and a medium+ level of fine tannins. This is generally a harmonious, elegant, second wine from this blockbuster vintage that is approachable now. Long finish. Score - 89. Under the ruby colour, the nose is medium and complex. Enjoy this dry, full-bodied and fruity red featuring refreshing acidity. On the palate, it showcases fleshy tannins and a broad mouthfeel that leads into a long finish.
