Tasting note

This single vineyard wine spent 21 months in American and French oak. Deep purple-crimson, it has remarkably complex flavours for an '11 wine, but no sign of body building on the medium-bodied palate; instead there is an array of blackberry fruit, dark chocolate and licorice-accented flavours, tannins and oak neatly judged.
