Tasting note

Attractive nose with black cherry and plum notes with pepper and a touch of licorice. Rich, ripe and crafted in a style that will appeal to a wide range of palates. Approachable and fruity with excellent replays and some savoury notes emerging. Long and structured with good balance. Very nice. A great choice for casual gatherings. (Vintages panel, Aug. 2014)

The Triangle Merlot has ripe and concentrated plum, dark berry and liquorice flavours, with hints of dark chocolate on the finish. Soft and velvety tannins provide the backbone for a rich wine that will cellar comfortably for a decade. Recommended serving Temperature 18-20 degrees C.
