Tasting note

Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, this also has some Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec - almost all the red Bordeaux varieties. It's a big-bodied and fleshy red that's quite dense and very complex. You'll find a great range of layered flavours here. The acidity is very good; it complements the fruit and adds some attractive juiciness to the texture. The tannins are nicely integrated now and you can drink this through to the mid 2020s. The wine has a silky mouth feel and an elegant, long finish with a slight tannic grip.
