Tasting note

This is full of fabulous sauvignon flavours. Lifted aromas of passionfruit, mango, grapefruit and lime zest lead to a powerfully expressed palate that is lush and mouthwatering. The wine shows excellent fruit purity and vibrancy, finishing superbly long and tasty. A real crowd-pleaser. At its best: now to 2018. Score - 93. (Sam Kim, wineorbit.co.nz, Sept. 2015)

Intense, typical Sauvignon characters strike the nose. Look for aromas of lime zest, white peach and passion fruit. The lime-y character makes for a very refreshing palate but the wine is still approachable and mouth filling. It has a lingering mineral texture that gives good length to the wine. The perfect Sauvignon for all occasions - enjoy lightly chilled on a summer's day with a plateful of New Zealand's famous greenshell mussels.
