Deep, vivid crimson-purple; has taken full advantage of everything the '12 vintage had to offer; gloriously full, but supple and velvety/juicy red and black fruits, the tannins and oak joining with the fruit on the full-bodied, perfectly balanced, palate. This dry cherry-red coloured wine features medium woody, spicy and fruity scents and offers a broad texture as well as fleshy tannins.

Deep purple-crimson; an outstanding vintage for Blackwell, with a wonderful mix of intense black and red berry fruits, licorice and mocha oak; good as the flavours are, so is the tapestry of the texture of the wine, finely worked and balanced. A classic regional style, enjoy this beauty with robust beef or game dishes.
