Tasting note
As I've seen in many of the 2013 wines produced by winemaker Ignacio Recabarren, there is a big jump in freshness in the 2013 Terrunyo Cabernet Sauvignon, which shows elegant, balanced and layered aromas of black raspberries, tobacco leaf, cracked pepper, hints of spices, smoke and aromatic herbs. The palate is medium to full-bodied with very good acidity and freshness, with very fine and elegant tannins. This is superb Cabernet Sauvignon. Score - 92. (Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com, Dec. 2015)
Well structured, muscular, detaching soft tannins, persistent with a long pure and fruity finish. 92 pts Wine Advocate
"Always an excellent value and cellar candidate from Chile, it gets the thumbs up from the Wine Advocate who rate it 91 points and say,”…this is great Cabernet Sauvignon”. A stylish wine that comes in stylish wooden cases." MARCH 2015 Insider Pick by Stephen Schiedel, Category Manager for Wines of Canada, USA, and South America.
