Tasting note

New Zealand has made huge strides in its Pinot Noir production in the past 15 years. This Pinot abounds with earthy red fruit, ripe cherry, rhubarb, currant, mocha, oak and spice. An excellent value! Pour yourself a glass with some smoked salmon or chana masala. (VINTAGES panel, March 2010)

The palate has soft gooseberry notes against a wonderfully vibrant intensity leading into a ripe and nicely textured mild palate. Lime zest flavors spring from the mouth watering acidity and signature minerality of the palate and very persistent finish.
