Tasting note
Balance is key and while the Prisoner maxes out on all heavy fronts, they are in synch, supportive of one another and expressive of zero stylistic guilt. The red fruit is so ripe, almost to a fault. The acidity is big, boisterous and elastic. The tannins are plush and get in no one's way. And it all works together as a team. 'We call it 'riding the gravy train'.' Is this your thing?
