Tasting note

The 2013 Primitivo Torcicoda is a great value option that offers an authentic taste of Puglian winemaking. The wine boasts the Antinori family's signature touch with bold layers of spice and dark fruit that contrast each other in seamless fashion. The slightly cooler vintage offers a pretty view onto the Primitivo grape and its aromas of blackberry preserves and spicy tobacco. Smooth tannins and soft consistency make for a fitting close. Under the garnet colour, the nose is intense and complex. Enjoy this dry, full-bodied and fruity red featuring light acidity. On the palate, it showcases fleshy tannins and a full-bodied mouthfeel that leads into a medium finish.

Colour: Intense ruby red. Aroma: Fruity hints of cherry, strawberry and liquorice blend with the toasted notes as well as those of spices. Flavour: In the mouth it is full and rich, with good body and a lively and pleasant tannin.
