Tasting note

Malbec of red intense color, revealing aromas of cherries and black fruits such as raspberries and blueberries with violet notes. Fresh and ample as it enters the mouth with orange peel notes. Gripped, juicy and elegant tannins. Long and very perfumed finish.

At Trapiche the winemaking team evaluates all their grower Malbec wines and bottle the top three. On offer from 2009 is Suarez Lastra from Altamira in the Uco Valley. The Wine Advocate comments, "This is one of the finest single grower Malbecs wines that I tasted during my visit. Rated 92 points."
