Tasting note
(53% syrah, 37% mourvedre and 10% grenache from the 2008 and 2007 vintages, with a bit of 2009 added for brightness) Vivid ruby. Dark berries and spices on the nose, with a subtle peppery note adding lift. Supple, gently sweet red fruit flavors are a tad loose-knit but show a velvety texture. A straightforward but juicy, fruit-driven wine and very easy to drink. Score - 87. (Josh Raynolds, International Wine Cellar, Nov./Dec. 2010)
