Tasting note

Good hue; a medium-bodied wine that meets all reasonable expectations. The cassis, black olive and bay leaf aromas and flavours are clear and uncluttered, but do not deny the oak and tannins their place at the table. This is a rich, full-bodied wine that will benefit from time in the bottle. It is well-balanced with fine, elegant tannins, the hallmark of great Cabernet. Ripe flavours of blackcurrant and cassis delight with subtle savoury French oak characters of cedar and spice. The finish is long and persistent.
