Tasting note

Fantastic and intense aromas of tropical fruit, custard cream, butter and oak fill the nose. The palate is equally exciting. Dry, medium bodied and balanced with a creamy texture and a sweet core of tropical fruits all framed by rich oak. Certainly an oak lover's delight, but there is more than enough going on here to appeal to a variety of palates. Try with veal cutlets in a cream sauce. (VINTAGES panel, July 2011)
