Robe rubis profond; arômes de cerise noire et de framboise; palais doux et corsé déployant de riches saveurs de prune, de mûre et de cassis; tanins bien intégrés offrant une finale longue et souple.

Robe de teinte rouge cerise opaque. Nez puissant exhalant des arômes dominants de fruits noirs mûrs, de bois et d'épices. Ce porto démontre une faible acidité et est doté de tannins enrobés. Fidèle aux parfums perçus à l'olfaction, il s'affirme par des saveurs de pruneau confit, de raisin de Corinthe et de cacao. En bouche, sa texture onctueuse s'estompe dans une finale persistante.

A deeply coloured, black-purple wine. A huge presence of fruit on the nose; raspberries, damsons, blueberries, plums and even juniper berries. Lovely. Smoothly integrated on entry, with a firm, very masculine midpalate. Tannic, showing plenty of grippy structure, with dense, ripe fruit. Nicely balanced acidity giving a fresh impression in the palate, with lovely texture. Very good for a straight LBV. Drink now.

Great black fruit quality on the stylish nose which displays inky notes, a discreet herbal and mineral character and hints of liquorice. Beautifully complex, fine and elegant bouquet. Wonderful velvety texture on the rich, concentrated and weighty palate which delivers heaps of flavour leading into a long finish crammed with sumptuous dark chocolate and liquorice.

Vintage port is fantastic but requires time and a cellar to reach optimal flavour. Late bottled vintage port is still blended from wines of a selected harvest, but thanks to oak aging it flaunts sumptuous plum and caramel tones – plus it’s ready to drink now.
