In Crown Royal's "De Luxe" Canadian whisky, rye grain is featured as one flavouring component along with several other constituents within this world-famous blend. With the Northern Harvest Rye, Crown Royal throws the spotlight specifically on the rye component, delivering a deliciously balanced and award-winning whisky. Visually, this whisky shows a great depth of colour owing to its ageing in new oak. The aromas are enormously complex, featuring a fruitiness reminiscent of pears, apples, and apricot along with the spiciness of clove, anise and pepper, all complemented by oaky notes of vanilla, butterscotch and toffee. On the palate, the signature Crown Royal creaminess draws the flavours to a wonderfully warming finish.
