BOUQUET : arômes puissants d'élevage sous chêne accompagnés de nuances de fumée et de miel, ce qui confère un caractère de plus grande maturité. Complexe et à son mieux. BOUCHE : soyeuse et assurée, tout y est, et même plus. Il y a longtemps que je n'avais pas rencontré autant de miel et de fumée; et ce n'est pas juste une question de quantité, mais de qualité! FINALE : longue avec de magnifiques essences qui rappellent presque celles d'un bourbon et qui aident à ramener ces incroyables saveurs de miel! Note - 96. (Jim Murray, Whisky Bible, 2014)

This whisky has a rich amber glow and an unmistakable taste of smokiness and heather honey with, as you would expect from Highland Park, a hint of peat. Add a drop of water to Highland Park 25 Year Old and enjoy an immense vanilla sensation with the characteristic honey sweetness developing into complex aromas of white chocolate, cinnamon, nuts and dark fruit. The finish is at once intensely sweet and gently smokey and goes on and on.
