Note de dégustation

Se distingue par son utilisation de planches de chêne grillé dans ses fûts pour procurer une sensation de vieillissement additionnel. Il en résulte des saveurs plus prononcées de caramel, d'épices et de vanille ainsi qu'une finale puissante. Note - 95. (Jim Murray, Whisky Bible)

Note de dégustation (anglais)

Aromas of toasty oak with caramel overtones. Caramel, vanilla and oak on the palate. A lingering, oak finish.
Sask Liquor
Aroma; Pleasant, sweet, toasty oak nose with caramel overtones. More intense aroma without an alcohol nose. Taste; Rich, creamy seared-oak fl avours; caramel and vanilla notes linger on the front of the palate, but it is still soft enough to hold on the tongue. Finish; A big, mouth-watering oaky fi nish. Long, with a little spice, staying forward on the palate without the bitter bite found in older whiskies.
Alcool NB Liquor
A bit stronger and bolder than the original Maker’s Mark, Maker’s 46 has a rich, creamy seared-oak flavour. Caramel and vanilla notes linger on the front of the palate, but it is still soft enough to hold on the tongue, even at 94 proof. Featuring a big mouth-watering oaky finish, Maker’s 46 still manages to retain the essence of its predecessor – there’s no bitter bite often found in older whiskies. One taste and you’ll be a true believer.
