Une forte proportion de seigle confère à ce bourbon des notes poivrées qui rehaussent ses arômes dominants de maïs. Anciennement dénommé Ridgemont Reserve, ce spiritueux riche et crémeux livre des saveurs de cassonade, de beurre, de caramel anglais, de tarte aux pommes et de réglisse dans une bouche veloutée. Score 89 Silver Medal Highly Recommended Deep amber color. Aromas of honeyed fruit cake and chocolate covered cherries follow through on a soft entry to a dryish medium to full body with caramelized nuts and exotic peppercorn notes. Finishes with a nice ginger and spice accented fade with noticeable heat. Serve with a splash. Beverage Tasting Institute

Each bottle of 1792 Ridgemont Reserve is handcrafted in small batches and aged 8 years in new charred oak barrels. The result is a distinctively smooth pour, equally worthy of rare occasions and everyday enjoyment.

A big, weighty bourbon—rye with an attitude. The taste is puckering and mouthwatering, the ryes go ballistic, especially on the spice front. With salivation levels on full blast, it is sometimes hard to pick out the delicate custard-cream and apple nuances. The oak finish kicks in with licorice and coffee. Different and wholly adorable.
