Southern Comfort was created in 1874 by a New Orleans bartender M.W. Heron. The unique taste of Southern Comfort can best be described as a distinct blend of whiskey, fruit and spice flavors. Southern Comfort is a New Orleans Liqueur made from neutral spirits with fruit, spice and whisky flavorings. It is a full bodied, full proof spirit, with light citrus and stone fruit notes; touch of warm spice, cinnamon and herbal notes, with hints of caramel.

This smooth Southern liqueur is sweet, with long, lingering caramel notes. Best served at room temperature in a rocks glass or in your favourite cocktail.
