Vin de teinte rubis plutôt intense. Nez qui s'ouvre sur des arômes dominants de poivre. Le tout est complété par des arômes de framboise, de cuir et de bois. Exprimant une agréable fraîcheur, ce rouge est muni de tannins charnus. La bouche d'une texture ample culmine dans une finale persistante.
