(Tempranillo, graciano, mazuelo.) Nuances fruitées affirmées, parfumées et mûres relevées d'une note végétale. La bouche présente une agréable élégance, une belle tenue et un bon équilibre. Un vin succulent qui vieillira bien. Note - Silver Medal. (International Wine Challenge, 2015)

Robe de couleur grenat plutôt profond. Nez complexe qui s'ouvre sur de subtiles notes animales et boisées. Le tout est également agrémenté par des parfums de cannelle, de clou de girofle, de fruits cuits et de torréfaction. Ce rouge laisse percevoir une bonne vivacité et est doté de tannins fermes. Il a une texture ample qui se termine dans une finale assez soutenue.

Intense cherry red colour. Complex and elegant on the nose with aromas of plum and sweet spices including cinnamon and nutmeg. Slight hints of almonds and well-integrated oak. Good structure on the mouth with notes of mature fruit and chocolate. A lively wine with well-concentrated tannins. Long and persistent.

Featured in TASTE Magazine, Winter 2012 issue. This Gran Reserva spends 24 months aging in French and American oak barrels and has the spice and vanilla notes to show for it. It is a classically made Rioja that is made for enjoyment upon release rather than long aging in the cellar. This would be a gorgeous match with slow cooked meats, aged cheese or savoury stew.
