Ce vin connaîtra beaucoup de succès au grand barbecue gastronomique que vous prévoyez faire cet été. Robe prune foncé presque opaque et bouquet invitant de café, de chocolat et de fraise. La bouche corsée aux saveurs de café, de chocolat, de vanille et de cerise est soutenue par des tanins fermes et bien intégrés. Les notes de vanille et de café qui persistent en finale rappellent le café au lait. Délicieux avec les steaks grillés sur le barbecue (cuisson mi-saignante) accompagnés d'une sauce épicée. Features aromatic tiers of ripe mulberry, spiced black tea and purple floral notes. On the palate flavors of cherry flambé, chocolate and roasted hazelnut contribute to tremendous depth, leading to a long and unstinting finish. Pairs beautifully with lamb chops, roasted duck, cassoulet, black and bleu burger, grilled eggplant. Aromas of red cherry, cocoa and a hint of toast lead to flavours of strawberry, blueberry and red apple dipped in dark chocolate with toasted oak and all spice hints on the finish. On the nose, the wine opens up to dark red cherry, cocoa, and a hint of toast. The balance in the mouth is exceptional — gorgeous strawberry, blueberry, and red apple dipped in dark chocolate, allspice, and a layer of toasted oak. Tannins are structured but not overwhelming and the acidity is very well balanced. Superb with your favorite steak, pizza, or pasta!
