Après une visite en Californie dans les années 1980, Nicolás Catena a aidé à transformer l'industrie vinicole en Argentine. Ce malbec riche, qui est son vin phare, révèle des notes de mûre, de bleuet, de chocolat noir, d'épices exotiques et de menthe. Essayez-le avec des saucisses grillées, un steak affiné à point ou un rôti de boeuf saignant.

Catena Malbec presents an opaque violet, almost blackish color typical of top quality Argentine Malbec. This wine offers intense aromatics with rich, concentrated flavors, and a soft generous texture. It has ripe plum and chocolate flavors with a very soft, supple mouthfeel and a core of black currant and cassis, with excellent structure and length.

Cantena High Mountain Malbec presents a dark, violet colour with deep black tones. This microclimate blend of four unique vineyard sites offers intense aromas with a soft, generous texture and concentrated flavours.
