Note de dégustation (anglais)
The famous Dourthe firm produces this well-known St-Estèphe, which often has a big chunk of Merlot in it. The 2012 Le Boscq is a dense ruby/purple wine with good flesh, ripe black cherry and blackcurrant fruit, medium body, light tannin and a nice lusty, heady finish. This is a relatively sexy wine that will develop nicely over the next 10-12 years. 87 pts, Wine Advocate This product is part of the Bordeaux 2012 wine release and will be available for purchase in select stores on October 3, 2015. Please view the Bordeaux 2012 booklet for further information. “This fresh, juicy red has a tangy edge supporting its red currant, cherry and plum fruit, laced with light, toasty vanilla. Firms up on a touch on the finish, but still offers solid flesh. Drink now through 2014.” 88 pts, Wine Spectator *Recommended: drink or hold (can be enjoyed now but may also be matured further by cellaring).
