Deep red with vibrant purple hues. This wine shows enticing aromas of red and black fruits, which continue on a rich, smooth palate. The Cabernet Sauvignon lends flavors of blackberries, boysenberries and plum, which are enhanced by lovely spicy notes from the Syrah and Zinfandel, along with a slight toasty, vanilla character from oak aging.

COLBY RED is a delicious red wine dedicated to raising funds for cardiac research. It is a unique blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Syrah, Petite Sirah and Merlot that is rich and smooth. This wine is named in honor of Colby Rex Groom, 13yr old son of Winemaker Daryl and Lisa Groom, who just prior to his 10th birthday underwent back-to-back open-heart surgeries. With your support, thousands of dollars are expected to be raised this year and donated to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation and other local Heart Health causes through sales of Colby Red.

A unique blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Syrah, Petite Sirah and Merlot, Colby Red is a deep crimson colour with aromas of ripe red cherries, raspberries and star anise. Bold flavours of red berry and hints of clove with a smooth finish. Interesting note: this wine was created to support charities that promote heart health. Food Pairing: It calls for game like venison or bison finished with berry-flavoured sauce.
