Le millésime 2013 marqué par la fraîcheur a donné de magnifiques carmenères, comme celui-ci tiré du vignoble Peumo. Il est chargé d'électricité, ses saveurs sont rouges, fraîches et herbacées, ses tanins sont épicés et l'ensemble très bien défini révèle le côté agile et enjoué du cépage. La maison Concha y Toro explore depuis quelque temps les façons de faire ressortir la personnalité rafraîchissante du carmenère. Un achat judicieux. Note - 94. Dry, medium bodied and packed with dark raspberry and black cherry flavours, with just the right touch of toasty oak character. Elegant and suave with a backbone of bright acidity and light tannins balancing the ripe fruit flavours on the finish. A Carmenere with finesse worthy of your dinner table.
