Le vignoble Viña Falernia dans la vallée de l'Elqui est actuellement la propriété vinicole la plus septentrionale du Chili. Au millésime 2013, ce vin se montre modérément ferme, souple et bien équilibré et déploie des saveurs fruitées délicieuses et élégantes. Comme le suggère le producteur, il fera des accords réussis avec la chèvre ou l'agneau. (Comité VINTAGES, févr. 2015)

Wow! This is an intense, cool-climate Syrah with loads of character. Attractive notes of fresh ground peppercorns, blackberry, raspberry, licorice and tar intrigue on the nose. It’ s dry, soft textured with a sleek medium body and a beam of crisp acidity backing the sweet core of fruit. It has very good length on the finish with a nice duet of peppery spice and juicy fruit.

The Elqui valley is emerging as the top wine region for Syrah in Chile. Full-throttled red fruit, black pepper and spicy notes in this balanced wine. Try with grilled meats…any and all!
