Note de dégustation

Bon compagnon de table et d'un excellent rapport qualité-prix, ce pinot noir de Nouvelle-Zélande a toute la fraîcheur qu'on attend des pinots de climat frais. Sa palette de saveurs est classique : cerise noire, framboise et notes légèrement terreuses. Splendide avec toutes sortes de plats : sandwich au porc effiloché, poulet rôti, céviche de saumon, etc.

Purple and crimson colour with aromas of black cherries, red currants, integrated oak and a smoky bacon character. The palate is a nice combination of dark cherries and red fruit underscored with a hint of oak and firm tannins. Persists well.

COLOUR Medium red colour. AROMA Bright fruit aromas of fresh crushed berries, hints of spicy oak, and some forest floor notes. PALATE The palate is rich, with red berry flavours providing some nice fruit sweetness. Soft tannins ensure that the wine is approachable in its youth, however, it does have structure to enable the wine to develop over the years.

This wine is enticingly aromatic showing notes of dark cherries and strawberries.  Partially aged in French oak barrels for the alluring complexity of well integrated oak and fine silky tannins.  Aged in a mixture of French oak barrels and tank for five months.  Superb with herb-crusted lamb, mushroom risotto or all on its own.
