Diamond Estates Vidal Ice Wine and Pure Canadian Maple Syrup. 200ml of Lakeview Cellars Vidal Icewine and 250ml of Smokey Kettle Pure Maple Syrup. Rich aromatics of apricots, honey and ripe peaches with subtle hints of lychee. The palate is complex with sweet honey, ripe tropical fruits, and mild citrus notes. Best served lightly chilled. Enjoy on its own, or paired with rich foods like foie gras, soft creamy cheeses, and dark chocolate. Awards Gold Medal, IceWine du Monde 2013

Rich apricots and honey on the nose with a lingering aroma of fresh peaches. On the palate more complex flavours of honey, ripe tropical fruits and lychee are present with a well-balanced sweetness. Soft citrus notes are peeking through and complement the balanced acidity in the wine. Serve chilled to approximately 12°C. Pair this Vidal icewine with rich flavours such as blue cheese, dark chocolate, fois gras, fresh fruits or vanilla ice cream. This wine may also be served on its own as dessert.
