Note de dégustation
Bright gold. Smoky peach and pear aromas are brightened by dusty minerals and lemon pith. Deep, expansive tangerine, nectarine and poached pear flavors are nicely lifted by white pepper and bitter quinine. Distinctly rich for the region but quite lively as well. Finishes with firm grip and lingering spiciness, leaving sweet citrus and pit fruit notes behind. According to the importer, yields were off by 40% in 2012, which likely accounts for the wine's uncommon weight and power. Score - 91. (Josh Raynolds, International Wine Cellar, Sept./Oct. 2013)
Note de dégustation (anglais)
Discover the versatility of Albariño from Rías Baixas. These food-friendly wines burst with luscious aromas of honeysuckle, citrus, ripe melon, peach, pear, apricot, mango and other exotic fruits. While the wines are fruity, they are bone-dry with bright acidity, mineral overtones and moderate alcohol. These delightful white wines, with their rich fruit aromas and lively acidity, are ready to drink upon release but also have a structure and complexity that allows for aging up to three years. Rías Baixas whites have a flavour intensity sure to please even the most ardent red wine lover. Enjoy Rías Baixas Albariños on their own as aperitifs or with veal, chicken, ham, medium-bodied cheeses or an array of vegetable dishes.
