Note de dégustation (anglais)
Aromas of white pepper, black raspberry, chocolate fudge and an interesting mineral quality. Flavours of red and black berries, smoked meat and a note of spice.
The Shiraz shows intense aromas of white pepper, smoked meat, black raspberry and cocoa. The palate is full bodied with notes of cherries, blackberries and an exotic spice note. The Reserve Shiraz has been aged in French and American oak for 11 months.
Featured in TASTE Magazine, Winter 2012 issue. Shiraz from Okanagan and Similkameen Valley soils is quickly becoming a hit. This wine is a deep purple colour with intense aromas of toasty oak, damson plum, blueberry and some meaty, gamy notes making it a perfect pairing with BC wild game meat. The palate is full with medium acidity, ripe tannins, flavours of blueberry, plum, blackberry and lots of chocolate, coffee and vanillin oak.
