Sir Winston est particulièrement digne et raffiné en 2004. Il est étonnamment primaire et jeune, mais il révèle toute la tenue discrète à laquelle on a le droit de s'attendre de cette cuvée classique. Une cascade d'acidité impeccablement raffinée se jette dans une rivière minérale profonde qui coule vers un horizon lointain. Une grâce naturelle et une vigueur juvénile se cachent sous ces extérieurs distingués. À boire entre 2015 et 2034. Note - 98. (Tyson Stelzer, decanter.com, 11 nov. 2015)

A balanced palate with weight, power, a velvety texture and a long persistent pure acidity. With weight and complexity characteristic both of the terroir and vintage. A long after taste with a light touch of citric acidity bringing together a wine of undeniable majesty. Already drinking well now and will continue to improve over the medium term.

Intense, yellow gold, sparkling with a myriad of the bubbles – the Pol Roger trademark. The nose is structured, forceful but with subtle mineral notes and hints of lemon, white pepper and ginger. Four-square on the palate, mouth lling, robust and powerful. Touches of minerality, even saltiness, with balance, structure and nose. A long, lingering finish.
