Above the fog line at 1500 feet, this is an incredibly beautiful, yet stressed vineyard that produces trademark Mt. Veeder characteristics. Dried cherry, forest floor, cigar box and black tea aromas are matched with dark red fruit and cassis flavours reminiscent of brandy soaked cherries. This is an approachable, complex mountain cabernet with balanced tannins and a lingering finish.
