Made with 40% Short Flat and 60% Weinkeller (old vine) vineyards - both being red volcanic soils. Fresh and raspberried with some clean Hunter earthiness and a little vanilla oak. Medium bodied with supple, round fruit, creamy ripe powdery tannins and clean gentle acidity. Pretty and satisfying. Classic Hunter Shiraz. Drink: 2014 - 2022+. Note - 94.
