Note de dégustation (anglais)

The grapes were picked at 25 deg B. The wine fermented slowly in open fermenters and was plunged through regularly. After malolactic fermentation the wine was transferred with gravitation to third and fourth fill 300L French oak barrels for 8 months. Food pairings: Leg of Lamb, Creamy white cheese, Shepherd's Pie.

The Pinot Noir shows upfront fruit flavours of raspberries and cranberries, with earthy tones and cherry on the palate and aftertaste. Our wines embody everything that is uniquely and proudly South African.
