(Entièrement de tempranillo et élevé 6 mois en fûts de chêne américain neufs.) Robe rubis vif et attrayant bouquet de mûre, de cola à la cerise et de vanille relevé de notes de chêne épicé. La bouche séveuse et ample à l'attaque se resserre en milieu de bouche pour offrir ses intenses saveurs de compote de petits fruits rouges et noirs soutenues par un coup de fouet d'acidité vive. Notes of violets, liquorice, dark red berry fruits with notes of toasted coffee. Full bodied with excellent balance between fruit and wood. Pair with rich grilled meats and traditional Spanish fare.

High-pitched red fruit aromas are complicated by notes of vanilla, woodsmoke and cracked pepper. The texture is supple and the flavors of cherry and raspberry are juicy, deep and precise. This is a fruity and approachable drink with strong finishing cut and very good length. (90 points, Stephen Tanzer) This wine would actually benefit from 1-2 years in the cellar with its dense fruit and firm structure. If you can't wait, then match it with flavourful game like bison or caribou.
