Massif et explosif, l'Esprit de Tablas 2012 est ample et chaleureux en bouche, fidèle au style du millésime, mais il a aussi beaucoup de puissance en réserve. En 2012, la syrah a joué un rôle plus important dans l'assemblage qu'en 2010 et 2011, ce qui donne beaucoup d'ampleur au vin. Il sera fascinant de le surveiller au fil des ans. Spicy nose with dark fruit, crushed rock, cocoa and licorice. The palate shows blackberry, black raspberry, and currant fruit highlighted by a persistent minerality, lush texture and substantial but fine-grained tannins. The power of the tannins and the concentration of the wine suggest that it will benefit from short- to mid-term cellaring, and drink well for two decades or more.94 Wine Advocate
