Tasting note

The expected rich apple notes are joined by touches of sweet nutmeg and burnt sugar. Quite decadent and richly textured but the rush of bright acidity keeps things lively and prevents any sense of cloying. This could easily be served as a stand-alone dessert, but will be an excellent partner for fresh apple pie. (VINTAGES panel, Nov. 2013)
