Tasting note

Medium amber with burnished copper highlights; nose of peat smoke balanced by complex notes of dried fruits, toasted nuts and fortified wine; superbly smooth and rich on the palate, with raisins, dried fruits, brine and the 'rancio' notes of Sherry; the finish is long and very balanced.

A rich, dried fruit sweetness with clouds of smoke and strong, barley-malt flavours, warming and intense. At the back of the mouth is an explosion of peppery smoke.
