Tasting note

The Isle of Arran Distillers remains one of the few independent distilleries in Scotland, but that's not their only claim to fame. Their single malt is crafted with the purest water supply in all of Scotland, and it uses neither peat in the production process nor caramel for any artificial colouring. This Sherry Cask Finish Single Malt is rich and balanced with complex fruit and spice notes, and a fair amount of heat. Cut with a drop of water or two to reduce the heat and to release even more complex aromatics and flavours. (VINTAGES panel, March 2016)
