Tasting note
(35% oak): Cool aromas of crushed stone, lime, minerals, tarragon and lemon zest, with the wine's oak component nicely absorbed. Very rich and dry, with a light touch and enticing spicy lift to the flavors of pineapple and crushed stone. Finishes perfumed, pure and quite long. This cuvee is now showing better definition in spite of its size, noted Mangenot, pointing out that previously it was more Cote d'Or-like. Score - 91-93. (Stephen Tanzer, International Wine Cellar, July 2012)
This dry and greenish yellow coloured white showcases a complex nose releasing spicy, floral, fruity, mineral and vegetal scents. You will be charmed with this medium-bodied wine revealing a broad texture and a long finish.
*Available only at the BC Liquor Store Festival Wine Shop at the Vancouver International Wine Festival from March 1-3, 2018. The Festival Wine Shop is open to tasting room patrons. Same day tasting tickets must be presented for entry. Bright medium yellow with more minerality and complexity than the 2016. Aromas of white peach, fresh pineapple, orange oil, minerals and spicy oak.
