Tasting note

A linear and fresh red with pretty layers of ripe fruit. Full to medium body. Gorgeous. Drink now. Score - 92. (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, Nov. 21, 2016)
LCBO
This dry cherry-red coloured wine features medium woody, empyreumatic, spicy and fruity scents and offers a broad texture as well as fleshy tannins.
SAQ
The blend is the historic combination of Corvina and Rondinella with the addition of a small quantity of Sangiovese. A small percentage of the harvested grapes are left to dry out until December and then added to the previously vinified fresh grapes. The result is a velvety, well-balanced red wine that proffers mature, pulpy fruit.
Alcool NB Liquor
70% of the grapes for this Super Venetian are fermented directly after harvest while 30% are dried to be refermented with the wine later. Allegrini recommends this wine with pork risotto.
