Tasting note

This refreshing sparkling wine is made in the traditional method using a blend of Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Mauzac (the traditional principal variety of Limoux in Languedoc). Limoux stakes its claim to being the original sparkling wine region, even before Champagne! Aromas of citrus fruit, toast and nuts on the nose. Dry, with a lovely crisp acidity, bold white fruit, pear and custard notes on the palate. Enjoy this flavourful Crémant de Limoux with freshly shucked oysters. (VINTAGES panel, July 2010)

This dry white displays a simple and medium nose featuring empyreumatic, floral and fruity aromas. On the palate, its lively acidity and broad texture precede a long finish.
