Tasting note

Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah seem to blend well in BC with Syrah softening Cabernet better than its traditional blending partner Merlot. This 50/50 version has an intense and complex nose of spice, floral potpourri notes and ripe blueberry. The palate is full-bodied, intense and long with blackberry, blueberry, cassis and a nice hint of pepper giving complexity on the finish. Lots of power and some nice flavours that should open up even more in the next few years. Score - 91. (Rhys Pender, MW, winealign.com, July 15, 2016)
