Tasting note
Picpoul, or Piquepoul, means 'lip-stinger,' and the deliciously mouth-puckering acidity of this wine demonstrates why. Opening with aromas of fresh apple, pear and wild herbs, it's juicy, bright and medium-bodied on the palate, which is defined by exceptionally racy acidity. Crunchy orchard fruit flavours from start to finish. Pair with salty foods or fatty fish. (VINTAGES panel, Dec. 2015)
Straw yellow in colour, this white boasts a medium nose exuding floral and fruity aromas. Discover this light-bodied wine expressing lively acidity and offering a broad texture. It also unveils a light mouthfeel that leads into a short finish.
