Tasting note
Here's a robust, sunny and mouthfilling Sauvignon Blanc topped up, in rare fashion, with Chardonnay and Viognier. A delightful barrage of cantaloupe and honeydew melon, spring flowers, lemon zest, peach and coconut please the senses. There's just a light touch of oak evident on the finish. Pair with barbecued pork. (VINTAGES panel, June 2013)
Straw yellow in colour, this white boasts a medium nose exuding woody, empyreumatic, spicy and fruity aromas. Discover this full-bodied wine expressing refreshing acidity and offering a broad texture. It also unveils a medium mouthfeel that leads into a medium finish.
Floral and vanilla bean aromas give way to flavours of citrus zest and warm brioche. Well-balanced.
With the two main varietals of Semillion and Sauvignon Blanc the acidity in the Alluvium Blanc keeps the lush fruit flavors of tropical fruit, floral, and lemon-verbana aromas.91 Wine Advocate
