Tasting note

Bright full gold. Resiny apricot lifted by orange blossom on the nose. Creamy-sweet and silky on the palate, with raisin and honey botrytis notes energized by an impression of firm acidity. Very sweet and very concentrated but not at all overdone. This is already a delicious drink. Score - 91. (Stephen Tanzer, International Wine Cellar, May/June 2011)

While crafting Nightingale can be an exacting and intense process, the memories that come from working with Myron and Alice make it consistently inspiring. The intensity of flavors that come from this wine are different each year, and it never ceases to amaze me how beautifully science and art can come together in this process. I get aromas of candied pineapple and fig, and flavors of honeydew, butterscotch and graham cracker.
